School Dinners

Children may either bring a packed lunch from home or have a hot meal provided by Settlebeck kitchen.  Hot meals are eaten across in Settlebeck’s dining room, before the secondary pupils’ lunchtime.  Packed lunches are eaten in our school hall.

Children in the infants, (Reception to Year 2), are entitled to a free school meal paid for by a government grant. A hot meal for children in Year 3 to 6, costs £2.35 per day, £11.75 for a typical 5 day week, unless your child is in receipt of the Free School Meal grant.  Dinners should be paid for in advance, either by cash or a cheque made payable to Settlebeck School.  Hot dinners need to taken at least weekly not swapping between hot dinners and packed lunches on a daily basis.
