Learning for happiness, safety and success.

Welcome to our new school website. It seems strange to be launching something ‘new’ after such a long period of change and disruption to our ‘normal’ existence. However, this might also be seen as an opportunity to think again, more deeply, about what makes our school ‘tick’, to remind each other about what is important to us and why we do, what we do!

Prior to school closure in March, we had spent many months thinking about, exploring and discussing our school values; the beliefs and ideas that underpin how we treat each other, how we learn and the decisions we make in our school. As a school community, we have selected 8 Values. We have also linked these Values to our Vision for the futures our children will enjoy in later life and also our Focus in school, the way in which we operate to teach and reinforce these important ideas.

Our Values, Vision and Focus act as a guide to help us engage with and enjoy the learnig experience here at Sedbergh Primary School.

Warm regards,
Matthew Towe – Head teacher
