Learning for happiness, safety and success

Welcome to our school website. On these pages you will hopefully find everything you need to know about our wonderful school. At Sedbergh Primary School, happiness, safety and success are at the heart of all we do. Our engaging curriculum and enthusiastic staff team ensure that children make the best start to their learning journey. We work closely with families and the community to form a positive partnership striving to achieve the very best for every child and family connected to our school.

Currently, Mrs Tracy Whetton is our Interim Headteacher. Our Governing Body are in the process of appointing a new Head teacher to lead the school from September 2021.

Recently, we have spent many months thinking about, exploring and discussing our school values; the beliefs and ideas that underpin how we treat each other, how we learn and the decisions we make in our school. As a school community, we have selected 8 Values. We have also linked these Values to our Vision for the futures our children will enjoy in later life and also our Focus in school, the way in which we operate to teach and reinforce these important ideas.

Our Values, Vision and Focus act as a guide to help us engage with and enjoy the learning experience here at Sedbergh Primary School.
