Home Learning

Please use the following links to find information about how we organise ‘Home Learning’ at Sedbergh Primary School.

  • Click below to see a grid that summarises the amount and type of different home learning activities children will be given from each class in school.
  • On each class page you will find our Home Learning Lists, a selection of activities to complete at home linked to our learning in school.
  • Every Child a Mathematician – Use the link below to see our ‘Maths Learning Lists‘. This list shows you the most important pieces of maths knowledge your children need to know to be successful at and enjoy maths in school. The list gives parents simple ideas about things to do and questions to ask at home to help you child understand the very basic building blocks of maths. And don’t worry, we’ll deal with the tricky stuff in school.
  • Our Teaching and Learning Policy outlines how we teach in school and how you can help at home.

Parents can also access oodles of web based resources to assist with Home Learning – BBC Bite Size is a great place to start…
