The spring term is already in full flow and Year 3 have already begun their new topics.

Music – ‘Human Body’ (singing in two parts, performing call and response structure, exploring sounds, performing word rhythms, understanding and
performing binary form).
ART – Collage: Colour/shape (creating art in the same styles as various artists).
D.T. – Structures: Bridge designs / Mechanical systems – Waterwheel
Computing – We will be covering two topics: Computing systems and networks and then attempting to create Stop-Frame-Animations.
P.E. – This will continue with swimming on a Thursday and a lesson with Mr. Moorhead on a Tuesday, in which the class will attempt to improve their gymnastic skills. Your child MUST have their P.E. kit in school every day.
If you want a more in depth look at what we will be covering this term, then please have a look at our ‘Curriculum wall’.
Home Learning consists of daily reading aloud to an adult and weekly spellings. TT Rock Stars is still available to help secure times table knowledge. A Home Learning sheet, full of fun activities, will also be made available. Completed Home Learning tasks can be photographed / videoed and sent to me via the Dojo app.
As always, if you have any enquiries, thoughts or resources that may be helpful, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.
