We were so lucky to be paid a visit by Sedbergh Orchestra this week. Friends from both Dent and Ryelands School in Lancaster joined us to celebrate and listen to music. The Pepperpot Club Orchestra performed as did soloists and groups from our visiting schools – a real treat. Sedbergh Orchestra performed pieces from the Nutcracker Suite and gave us the low down on the different instruments in the orchestra. Many thanks must go to Roland Fudge for conduction and entertainment. The school would also like to thank Shirley and Donald for organising the visit and all the work they do for music in the school. We are also very grateful to the Freda Trott trust for their support of music provision in our school.
