Reception ventured to Leighton Moss, where they learnt about land and pond mini-beasts. The
children learnt all about the different habitats and how to handle the tiny creatures and treat them with care. They located, captured and identified mini-beasts using techniques such as log rolling, leaf litter sieving, sweep netting and tree beating!
