First January letter – welcome back!

Wednesday 9th January 2019

Dear parents, carers and families,

Welcome back to all at the start of a new term! I really hope you have had the opportunity to spend some quality time with your children and families over Christmas and New Year.

Naturally, with a new term and a new year ahead, in school we have been talking about what we will aim for in 2019. As a school, we will continue to:

– Show respect to people and possessions

– Improve our listening skills to help us learn and be successful

– Improve our presentation and organisation

– Improve our maths; in February we will launch an exciting online approach to learning in maths called ‘Mathletics’ (more details to follow)

We have so much going on this term, so please keep an eye out for updated newsletters and information on the school app. Here is a quick summary of upcoming events.
